Global Warming
It is happening? Or did Al Gore make it all up to scare us? What are your thoughts on Global Warming and how do you think it will affect us in our day to day lives?

Yes and No... People realize it as global warming but what it would really end up becoming is another Ice Age...
The weather is affected and become more violent thus affecting us. Also, food resources could diminish because of such climate extremes.
However, we are but not doing the best job of it... attempting to clear our carbon footprint(s) and rejuvenate the globe. There is much to be had and we still have a ways to go but stopping the change of the climate is a difficult but I believe manageable task

Wow, lol mate. Of course it's already happening. Al Gore is pretty serious about it and he's just right. We are not just putting that much attention to this but this is really a serious problem.
Geoengineering has been created in order to think ways in thinking of alternatives so slow down the process of global warming.

Yeah, it has produced a few ways but nothing really extravagant thus far. A couple more years down the road I think we can come up with something great!

Oh yeah its happening. It may be a natural process of the planet as many say but we have screwed it up. The crap that we pump into the atmosphere has accelerated it. I of course am in no way claiming that I don't help by no means.
I do think we could do a lot more to make it better but I am not sure if we can "fix" it. I think to a point it will just have to run its course.

The fascination about polar bears need to stop, because no matter what you do they are still going to become extent. They already started to adapt for survival by mating with grizzly bears.

Really? mating with Grizzly bears? ... wow .. didn't know that .. but I don't know if they will become completely extinct but their number will be similar to the Galapagos turtle ... only one alive and it's going to take decades to get back to close to pure genes for it

Just one! lol .. they are breeding it with another similar turtle and as I said before after a few decade of breeding they may be able to bring back it's original genes

Climates change, species go extent, it's just another stage of evolution.

The Day After Tomorrow is a good movie to watch. Could this happen? I think it slowly is. However, the Pendulum Theory is also a reason why this happens. What is this bologna I talk of? The Earth is not literally on a Pendulum. Its weather cycle is. While back, it was passing through the average state. Before that, it was in the Cold side (how long ago was this? It may have been The Last Ice Age or just a few decades ago, I dont know). Now, its passing into the warm side. This could have a reverse affect; I have not the slightest clue. Every now and then, a huge cycle of hurricanes come in. Example was 2006 (when Katrina hit, that year). Over 20 hurricanes hit the coasts of America. This is actually good for the Earth. It means nothing major is wrong with the atmosphere etc. Last time this went on was sometime last century, maybe the early 90s late 80s. This should happen around every quarter of a century (20-30 years in between each), but sometimes they are closer together or further apart.

I know a little about what your speaking of by watching the discovery channel and reading articles .. however I think what we are dealing with is something a bit bigger ... we are in a sense tipping the pendulum off balance and it's not swaying correctly anymore ... this is because of the carbon footprint we have left in our atmosphere effecting the layer(s) protecting the earth from radiation and other harmful entities such as heat ... over the past decades for example the arctic ice has slowly been melting more and more each year up until this year where it began to cover more ground again ..(not exactly sure why but it is) ... we are speeding up the process of the world's balance and causing it to have more drastic changes to compensate for us screwing stuff up ..
