Just yesterday, I was at a rally. The rally was to create awareness against the on-going illegal occupation of Palestine by the state of Israel and their continued terror, human rights abuses and so forth. A speaker's words really spoke to me. Her name was May. She has lived in both Palestine and Australia and when in Palestine her sister was once sick and NEEDED medical attention, and the hospital was on the other side of the check point. So she said to the IDF troops who were guarding the check point they needed a hospital and they told her she could not get through. She then repeated that her sister needed medical attention, only to be told that if they dare cross the check point, they would be shot. She said "We have the right to medical care" to be told by one of the troops "You are Palestinian. You have no rights. I'm the one with the gun."
The story went on to say that the fact they had Australian citizenship is what saved their lives. (As it would cause an uproar in Australia, and probably a cause to action and Israel would lose our governments support. I often wonder HOW it hasn't already though.)
My point being. Just imagine, how many lives have been wasted, through this complete rape of a land and it's people in this day and age. Does it not disgust you?

Oh yes it's disgusting, but thank god she had an Australian Citizenship , I can't believe anyone would do that, we should deny all medical attention to that soldier and see how he likes it... Pathetic.

Pathetic. That soldier was doing what he's been told to do. It's apparently his job. We should deny medical attention to Bush, Obama, Rudd, Gillard, Howard etc. They have all actively endorsed the actions of the Israeli governments and military.

That is really dumb, hopefully it gets stopped soon as it's true EVERYONE has a right to medical attention.

I agree with Azza, it's just not right. It's human though; because we're meant to be cruel at times.

People are greedy and controlling ... whether it was the soldiers job or not is seems as if they were enjoying it ...
I don't believe that anyone should be denied health care at all and the Israel government is just a messed up place ... obviously new leadership is needed but who will impose? ... All of or most of the powers of this world use Israel ... I don't think religion or anything of a stereotypically manner should judge any illegitimate or cruel actions
