When I die, I wish to have my body frozen. However I often fear with the mass skepticism about such processes, it makes me rethink about becoming a human popsicle. However if this is the only way to preserve my body for a later period in time, it sure beats given permanent death. Find out more about Cryonics here.

Under Revival from the link above: "More radically, mind transfer has also been suggested as a possible revival approach if and when technology is ever developed to scan the memory contents of a preserved brain."
So, in place of completely restoring tissue damage at the molecular level with bioengineering and nanotechnology they would like to take mind transfer into account and be able to keep or know the information that one may have known ...
interesting and invasive lol ...
It reminds me of Futurama with the presevered head that can talk back to you and live without a body. Which also happen to appear in Crank 2 ... hmm is it possible to preserve and keep alive a head?

Well, I recall seeing something about a monkey head transplant. The animal's brain started to adapt to it's new host and the monkey survived. They transplanted the head while the brain was still alive with it's skull covering/protecting it.
One of the reason I've had second thoughts was after watching Bullshit! when they talked about the subject known as Death. But still, preserving your body for a later date is still better than permanent death in the ground, dare I say.

Currently one cannot escape their destiny with the Grim Reaper.
One must always be prepared.

Having a belief that one never dies and religion are two different things.
Religion is usually organized, poorly.
